Welcome to PCC Kids;

where we are serious about the Gospel and your kids! Everything else… not so much!!

Your First Visit

  • Plan to arrive about 15 minutes before the service to register and get your kids settled. When you arrive, you'll see a kids check-in kiosk in the entryway, with a volunteer to help you get registered.
  • We'll need a bit of information to get your child(ren) registered, including the child(ren)'s name and age, and parent/caretaker name and phone number. You can also indicate on their registration any allergies, special needs or safety information.
  • Once checked-in, you'll receive a printed nametag sticker for each child, as well as a parent label sticker with a corresponding code to be shown at pickup. Only an adult with the corresponding parent label will be allowed to pick up your child.
  • Once you've got your name tags, a volunteer will direct you where to go for drop-off. Down the hall for Nursery, or downstairs for Preschool/Primary.
  • Keep your phone handy (and on vibrate) during the worship service! If any issue arises with your child that requires your attention, volunteers will send you a text via our parent communication system.

Nursery

Preschool & Primary

5th Sunday Family Service

Age 0-3. During the 10:00am worship service our screened and trained nursery staff create a safe, clean and fun environment for your child to play and learn about God in an age-appropriate setting while you attend worship.

Once your child turns 3, and is potty trained, they are invited to join our PCC Preschool & Primary Class.

If you prefer to keep your little one with you during worship, that's totally fine. If you need a quiet space to feed or settle your baby during the service, we have a Nursing Room available with a livestream monitor so you won't miss a thing. The Nursing Room is down the hall from the entry way, third door on the right.
Age 3 through 5th grade. Join us Sunday morning at 10:00am for our exciting PCC Kids program.  Each Sunday we have tons of action packed activities. We sing and dance! We play games! We do crafts! We eat snacks! We learn about how AMAZING God is!

Week after week, your kids will learn about the Bible, develop their relationship with Jesus, and build friendships with their peers.

All volunteers are background checked and receive ongoing safety training.
For each month with 5 Sundays, we make our regular 10:00am worship service a family-friendly service! We have a special children's message, provide activity bags to keep little hands busy, and generally anticipate a bit more noise from the pews! This is a special part of our congregational worship, wherein our youngest  community members get to observe their parents, caregivers, and familiar faces in the act of worship. And, our older community members get a chance to see the growth and abundance of new life in the church. Nursery care is still available on 5th Sundays, but there is no PCC Kids (preschool/primary) curriculum.

Upcoming 5th Sundays:
August 30
November 29

PCC Kids FAQs

What safety measures are in place?
Secured Environment: Upon check-in each week, you will receive a Parent label which contains a code which corresponds with your child’s name tag label. This number is checked as you enter and exit the secured environment. All volunteers are background checked and all volunteers wear identifying name tags to allow them access to the kids' areas.

Parent Texting System: Please keep your phone nearby. We will send you a text message in the event your child needs you for any reason.

Two-Deep Policy: While in PCC Kids spaces, your child will always be with two or more unrelated adults. No volunteer is ever alone with a child.

Emergency Preparation: Plans are in place and volunteers are trained to handle emergencies such as injury or fire evacuation. Our kids spaces are equipped with first aid kits, fire extinguishers and proper exit access for emergency evacuations.

Security Team: PCC has a volunteer Security Team with trained members on the premises for all of our services, to provide readily available assistance for any type of emergency.
What if I lose my parent label?
If you misplace your parent sticker label after check-in, you may be asked to show a photo ID at pickup. This is just to ensure the safety of your child. If another person comes to pickup your child and does not have a parent label with the correct code or cannot provide a photo ID to match a parent/caretaker listed on the child's registration record, volunteers will not release the child to their care.
Can you accomodate special needs?
Our team wants to provide a safe and fun experience for your child! If your child has special needs that may require accommodation beyond typical volunteer flexibility, the best thing to do is let us know you're coming ahead of time so we can collaborate on a plan to meet your child's needs. Our volunteers team is made up of parents, teachers, medical professionals and more - many of whom have years of experience working with kids of all needs, including ADHD, ASD, and more.

Our PCC Kids spaces do not meet current ADA accessibility standards for mobility impaired individuals. Part of our upcoming church renovation project, beginning fall 2026, will be to bring the all spaces within the church up to current accessibility standards.
What if my baby needs a diaper change?
If your baby needs a change while in Nursery care, a female volunteer will change their diaper. Our nursery is equipped with handwashing sinks, and volunteers wear nitrile gloves during changes, and sanitize changing spaces after each child.

If you prefer to change your own child, please let the volunteers know at check-in and they can send you a text if the need arises.
