Core Beliefs
The following are the core beliefs of Palos Community Church based on the foundational truths taught in the bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.
God-Focused, Christ-Centered, Spirit-Led
God the father, Son and Holy Spirit is the focus of our worship and prayer. We seek to glorify God so we can enjoy him forever. God is the audience in every aspect of our lives.
Bible-Based
The Holy Bible is the foundation of what we believe and we seek to apply it's truths to our everyday lives. The Bible is God's word, therefore it guides and directs our ministries and worship and is the focus of our educational opportunities and programs.
Shared Ownership
As followers of Jesus Christ, every person is important and is encouraged to lead and participate in our congregational life. We believe involvement builds commitment to live our united mission to Know God's Word, Grow in Christ's love and Go in the Spirit of service.
Nurturing Family of Faith
We are a loving, caring and supportive community where each person is encouraged and challenged to grow spiritually. We are a family of faith. We are all related to each other in this caring family of faith. We are all responsible for each other in this caring family of faith. We all belong to each other in this caring family of faith.
